Christos Greek Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
01.03.2026 lunch date with myself after touchin' up my hair My first time & it's not going to be my last! So delicious! Service was spectacular by Daniel. Lunch prices are so unbeatable. The dining room was beautiful. The exterior doesn't do it justice- you've just gotta go in. I've said I'd go for many years and I've finally walked in today. Fabulous decision. Salmon Exohikos $13.95 (Norwegian Salmon slathered w/ dill aoili baked in flaky phyllo wrap & spring salad that's tossed in dill vinaigrette w/ soup). Oh my, the salmon was perfectly cooked, the seasoning was spot on & the phyllo was flaky and moist into the bite! That dill vinaigrette...amazing!
I've lived in Minnesota for a year now and hadn't found "my spot"—that special place that feels like home—until I discovered Christos. From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in the warm, inviting glow of Mediterranean hospitality. The scent of fresh herbs and sizzling spices wafts through the air, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. Every staff member greets you with genuine smiles and heartfelt welcomes, making you feel less like a customer and more like a long-lost friend returning home. Navigating the menu is a breeze, even if you’re new to Greek cuisine. The waitstaff are not only knowledgeable but enthusiastic, eager to share their favorites and guide you through unique food and wine pairings that elevate the experience. As a gay couple with a child, we felt instantly embraced—something that can be rare, but here it’s the norm. The host went above and beyond, stopping by our table with crayons and a coloring sheet for our daughter, ensuring every member of our family felt special. When our four-person party’s meals arrived, the table burst into color and aroma. Each dish was a masterpiece: vibrant, thoughtfully presented, and brimming with authentic flavor. The lentil soup was soul-warming—rich, comforting, and utterly delicious. The Dip Sampler let us embark on a flavor adventure, and the Garlic Blast lived up to its name, leaving us craving more. Even our notoriously picky six-year-old cleaned her plate, grinning from ear to ear. Every bite made it clear: Christos is not just a restaurant. It's a celebration of food, family, and community that you’ll want to experience again and again.
This restaurant is my favorite of all time!! The food is delicious and food presentation is appealing. They have the best spanakopita and baklava, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Today I had the appetizer version of the spanakopita and souvlaki, very nice sized portions and delicious! My husband had the salmon in filo, also delicious! We finished off our meal with baklava. This recipe is the best I’ve ever had. While you’re eating it you’re thinking maybe you’ll have another!! During this visit we didn’t get the Saganaki, like we usually do, but if you’re wanting to try something new this is it!! Melted cheese with a bit of wine for flame and some sprinkled lemon juice served with warm pita bread, Oppa! The service is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is warm and feels like a small cafe in Greece, although they have room to serve 80+ guests.
On street parking makes lunch an easy option. I had the tilapia, and Mrs enjoyed the gyro. The bean soup is very good!
Fabulous food and service. Went in for an early dinner and very pleased with everything!
First the noise level was reasonable! A biggie for me! The service was friendly and timely. We did not feel rushed or forgotten. We had the Taverna Platter. It was all delicious; the roasted eggplant was my favorite. I then had the spanakopita and lentil-spinach soup. I would definitely order both again. My husband had the bronzini entry. The fillet was so delicious! Yes, he shared some with me.
I am a huge fan of green Greek cuisine and Christos never disappoints. I bring my friends and family here and everyone enjoys it. When we're undecided as what we should order we always get the Iliad which offers a great variety of Greek delicacies such as moussaka, dolmathes, gyro meat, sausage, potatoes and gyro meat. Another fantastic dish is the Greek hash which is what we had today with soup. Also I have to mention the service is always great and the price is very reasonable for the quality of food. We will be back.
Last time we dined at this restaurant, it was pre Covid. Our group went back today for a pre-show lunch and we were not disappointed. The room is bright, the host is friendly and our server, Peyton H, was fabulous. She is knowledgeable, friendly, good communicator, and got our orders right. The Saganaki was tasty, and the Octapodi was braised just right. The avgolemono soup was very good, you can’t go wrong with the gyros. Greek Salads were good. We definitely will be back.
